| Background

I was born in Lishui ("Beautiful River"), a tranquil town in Zhejiang Province, China. I visit my family there once in a while, where I can always find equanimity amidst the chaos. I grew up in Shanghai before I went to high school in Fairfax County, VA. I have been in the college town for a while now, from State College, PA to Ann Arbor, MI. My favorite city in the U.S. is Scottsdale, AZ, probably because of the huge cactus. If I were to choose a dream place for the rest of my life, it would definitely be Sweden even though I haven't been there.
